The main focus of the Designer’s role will be updating and developing our online casino gaming brands and other affiliated websites. Creating and maintaining collateral required for the business marketing requirements. Will also be creatively involved with creating campaigns with various marketing strategies alongside the other teams within the business & our external development partner.

The Department:

The Creative Department is responsible for creating and maintaining strong casino brands’ websites as well as other collateral the business requires for all marketing requirements.

Purpose of Job:

The main focus of the Designer role will be on our casino gaming brands, affiliate brands, and will be involved with the various internal teams to carry out design requirements to elevate and develop brands and retention and acquisition marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:

  • Working alongside other Designers in the team to support projects across the business
  • Create strong relationships with internal team members within the Creative team; Design, Brand Management and Copy, as well as Retention, Player experience and Acquisition teams
  • Strong motivation to work alongside team to create strong campaigns
  • Creating and maintaining strong brand awareness and identity for each brand
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to research to aid in the design process: Utilise research and asset third party platforms to build creative case
  • Flexible in work skill: Leaning towards Multimedia skills; Website design, UX & UI, Graphic and Visual Design, Site mapping and planning
  • Designing and developing websites with SEO best practices
  • Understanding and carefully following the brief
  • Conceptualisation and development of ideas, campaigns and action work as it comes in from Departments
  • Be able to present your work to justify it: Own what you produce
  • Understanding role of responsive design, Mobile first industry but be cogniscent of Desktop, tablet etc.
  • Have ability to design brand specific looks based on an established CI
  • Be able to prototype any design work with using XD or envision
  • Designing collateral for the team to use across the various marketing channels as well as creating content specific collateral for each Brand in target locations
  • Understanding and skilled in HTML, CSS, jQuery/JavaScript
  • Ability for Front End collaboration as well as understanding these requirements to implement work successfully for our internal development requirements as well as our external Development partner
  • Once established within the team, then work on and expand the current websites with new areas of functionality
  • Support maintenance of our internal brand websites
  • Proactively researching latest website functionality and digital marketing trends
  • Designing landing pages and areas on websites with best user experience in mind, conversion/ acquisition landing page designs
  • Accurate and efficient understanding of the relevant areas of the business

Essential Criteria:

  • 2-3 years experience in web and/or product design
  • Highly Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite primarily: XD, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • This position will involve collaborating with front-end developers so an understanding of CSS/HTML is a must
  • MUST include a strong design portfolio including case studies and samples of work
  • Front End Design knowledge and skills
  • Experience with Microsoft office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word

Desirable Criteria:

  • Multi Channel marketing is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Webflow site creation
  • SEO and Google Analytics understanding is desirable
  • Previous experience with handover software, such as Zeplin, is a plus
  • Previous experience Microsoft Teams & SharePoint
  • Premiere Pro and After Effects experience is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge in working in Figma
  • HTML Email Development
  • Working with 3rd party APIs
